We are based at our spacious, modern clubrooms at 61 Handforth Street, just past the entrance to the main terminal at Whangarei Airport. The Aero Club has two main areas of operation:
All our pilots are very experienced professional pilots and are available to answer all questions relating to recreational flying, PPL/CPL flight training, scenic flights, air charter and aerial photography. Simply call us on 09-4360890 and select option 1.

Northland Districts Aero Club has a lively social life for its members including trips away to various flying events and club functions. The club facilities are available for hire for functions or training seminars etc. We are a member of the Royal New Zealand Aero Club (RNZAC). Check out their web site under links. |

Members of our club are able to use the facilities of any other affiliated aero club that they might wish to visit throughout New Zealand. The RNZAC runs several competitions each year which members are entitled to enter. The annual club subs are $150.00 per year for Private Pilots, and $75.00 per year for Student pilots (limited to first two years of membership). Being a member is a great way to meet new people from this country and overseas who share a common interest in aviation. |
